Home Remedies For Peeling Lips

Peeling lips can be due to lack of moisture in lips. This is normally viewed during the winter season when the cold wind dries out the moisture in human skin. This can lead to dryness, redness, flaking and sore lips. Other causes of unhealthy lips include dehydration, vitamin deficiency, excessive smoking, and allergic reaction. Some people also have the habit of licking their lips for no reasons.
This can also cause peeling of lips. If you are moving from your comfort zone to a place where the weather condition is extreme, peeling lips can take place. In order to eradicate such problem, some home remedies will be very effective.
Sugar
Being an ingredient present at home kitchen, sugar can be essential ingredients to remove all dead skins from lips and restore the natural softness of the lips.
Preparation
In order to create the home remedy, it is essential to mix one teaspoon of honey and two tsp of sugar in a small container. Now, apply this on your lips and leave for 2- 3 minutes. Now use your finger tips and rub your lips gently. This will help in loosening your dead skin. Now wash its way with the Luke warm water. This will be very effective in stopping peeling of your lips.
Rose Petals
Individuals having small kitchen garden must have roses. You can pick one or two roses and get a remedy for peeling lips. This will not only eradicate peels in your lips but also help in retaining the effect of moisturizer.  Your lips will get back beautiful pink color once again.
Preparation
Separate rose petals from the flower and wash the handful of petals in water. Now soak these petals in cow milk for an hour or two. Some people might have issues in using the diary products. In such case they can easily dip the petals in glycerin. After leaving them for few hours, you must mash these rose petals in the solution so that it becomes a thick paste. Store it in a small container and refrigerate. You can apply small amount of it on your lips every night before going to bed.
Coconut oil
Some people can make coconut oil at home by boiling coconut milk extract. If you don’t have so much of time, you can get simple tined coconut oil from the market. You can apply coconut oil directly on your lips to make it moist. This will help eradicating all types of problems in lips starting from sourness till peeling.
Milk cream
You must have cow milk or diary milk at home for regular consumption or preparing tea. You can make cream out of the milk by boiling it and making it dense. You must be very cautious while carrying on with the process as it might get burnt. Thus, it is important to keep it in a slow flame.

After getting the fresh cream from the milk, apply the same on your lips. Keep this for a period of 10 minutes and wash it away. This will help healing your lips faster.

Tips For Dry Cracked Chapped Lips In Winter


Winter brings freshness in life with cold wind blowing from North West direction. After the effect of scotching sun during the summer season, human being would always look forward for the winter season to arrive. But, one of the negative effects of winter season is dryness in skin. Most of the people suffer from cracked and chapped lips during the winter season.
Apart from looking odd, dry lips also hurts. Sometimes dryness can give rise to bleeding in lips. But, if you are really concerned about such problems, it is the time to stop it through some homemade ingredients. The crack in lips formed due to weather condition can become larger even with little stretch. Thus, you need to be very careful.

Home remedies to treat dry cracked and chapped lips
Aloe Vera
It is normally found in the garden. You can use the gel extracted from the Aloe Vera juice to get a perfect remedy of chapped lips. It is now possible to take Aloe Vera juice directly from the plant. Just rubbing the raw Aloe Vera leave on your lips with a slight tear that brings out juices will be quite effective. You need to repeat the process for few days to eradicate this problem entirely.
Mustard oil
Indian Kitchen especially in Bengal, Mustard oil is used repeatedly. Whether they cook fish or that of meat, cooking will be always done through the mustard oil. Thus, it is quite easy to get in the kitchen. If your lips are had cracked and it very painful, you must dip your finger in the mustard oil and apply it on your lips. It may burn for some time, but will be very effective for your cracked lips.
Glycerin
With the arrival of winder season, people keep enough of glycerin at the stock to reduce dryness in skin. You can now apply just two drops of glycerin on your lips before going to bed. As soon as you get up in the morning, your lips will be fine.
Petroleum jellies
These are also a good source of moisturizing your skin when it is affected by the winter climate.  As compared to other natural home remedies, petroleum jellies can give temporary remedy to your lips.
Butter/ ghee
If you have kids at home or your breakfast generally consists of bread and butter, applying this natural home remedy will be easier for you. The Indian butter or Ghee is also quite effective to treat your cracked and chapped lips. Just apply it in small quantity and get moisturizing effect for a longer period of time.
Cucumber

You must have known that, cucumber is really a good food for skin. Many women consume this fruit to get clear and glowing skin. You can now peel a cucumber and cut it into pieces. Now put it in the mixer to get some juice out of it. After applying this juice in your lips, you must keep it for 5 – 10 minutes to get best result.
